The frame is what makes a deck last, and we build the frame the same way no matter which surface you pick. The choice is about maintenance and budget, not quality.
Trex & composite
Capped composite boards that do not need staining or sealing. Wash it once a year and it keeps its color.
- No sanding, staining, or sealing
- Resists fading, staining, scratching, and mold
- Higher up-front cost, lower cost to own
Pressure-treated wood
The traditional build. Costs less to put in, and stays looking good with a wash and re-seal every couple of years.
- Lowest up-front cost per square foot
- Natural wood look and feel underfoot
- Plan on re-sealing every two to three years
We also handle tear-offs and haul away, board replacement and re-decking, railing and stair repairs, pergolas and privacy screens, and washing and re-sealing existing wood decks.
